Peggy Neikirk

CSEO, LPO, AVP and Senior Commercial Escrow Officer

Peggy has been in the title and escrow industry since 1972.  She moved to the Northwest in 1976 and has been actively involved in the Portland Metropolitan commercial real estate market since 1979.  Peggy is a Certified Senior Escrow Officer, having received her professional designation from Oregon Escrow Council, Inc. in 1984.  She also maintains a Limited Practice Officer license from the State of Washington Supreme Court (admitted in 1999) and is a Notary Public in both Oregon and Washington.  She has served on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Mortgage Bankers Association and on the Board of Directors of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).

Peggy has handled transactions from as small as five hundred dollars to transactions approaching a billion dollars in size.  She specializes in multi-state transactions, the most complicated of which involved 492 sites in 34 states.  Her clients include large companies with national real estate holdings (for which she handles the majority of their properties across the country), to local investors in commercial real estate that have been coming to her as their closer since the early 1980s.  

She has been a featured speaker on a variety of topics from 1031 exchanges to notary laws for such organizations as Oregon Escrow Counsel, Oregon State Bar Association, various realty boards and real estate firms.

Peggy lives in Vancouver with her husband of over 50 years, staying very involved with her activities with the Silver Buckle Youth Equestrian Center, and enjoying time with her grandchildren and her horses.
