Hi, I’m Melissa Pitre, a REALTOR® with Island Homes PEI.

Born and raised in Tignish, I grew up in a family rooted in fishing and construction - where hard work and dedication were just part of everyday life. That foundation still plays a big role in how I show up for my clients today.

Now heading into my fourth year in real estate, I work with buyers, sellers, and investors across PEI, helping them navigate the process in a way that feels straightforward, informed, and stress-free. My approach is simple - be honest, be responsive, and make sure my clients feel comfortable every step of the way.

Before real estate, I spent several years working in both Federal and Provincial government roles. That experience shaped my attention to detail, organization, and ability to guide people through important decisions - skills that carry through in every transaction I’m part of.

I also have a strong interest in land development and have been involved in the growth of the Scottsview Meadows subdivision in Cornwall. Being part of that process has given me valuable insight into development opportunities and the bigger picture of real estate on the Island.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, travelling, and staying inspired by home design and décor. Most importantly, I value time with my friends and family - my partner Andrew, my children Dawson and Samantha, my daughter-in-law Hope, and our new grandson, Todd.
